So Gentlemen, here’s the first of the series of surprises for this edition of Proto.in. Liveblog! – It’s simple advise as that.
If you are liveblogging, here are the rules:
1. Use the tags “proto4″ for the post.
2. Post a link to the post in the comment of this post.
We’ll announce the winner for the contest at the end of the second day. Do stay around and look forward to the blogger’s marathon.
PS: If you are twittering, use the tag #proto4

Hi Vijay,
I’m having some problem trying to figure out where I can have some idea about what is happening at Proto. Is the wifi still down? I would like you to confirm whether the webex streaming of the presentations will take place tomorrow and how to access it.

Not one but quite a few posts covering sessions I found interesting!
It has been a fantastic event! Kudos to the entire Proto team.

PS: I would like to volunteer for all subsequent editions of Proto. What do I join and how do I contribute?
@Vijay
A suggestion on format:
LiveBlogging is a great communication tool for news-events, WWDC, GoogleI/O etc.. What value does it brings to an event like this is not clear. Let the participants listen, think, understand, reflect… on whats being said.
As for me, who is missing the action, I’d prefer to read a blog written by Kapil(@pankap.com) than a liveblog.
Have a great Day2!!

Celebrating Life…
Oops! a correction:
As for me, who is missing the action, I’d prefer to read a blog __like the one__ written by Kapil(@pankap.com) than a liveblog.

I am able to finish few sessions only, but want to capture the whole event in big-way rather than few paragraphs. I would be posting other articles soon.

Oh, I guess I posted my comment on the wrong thread :p This is supposed to be the right post! I see a lot of people adding in their blogs after the event seems to be over! However, the contest was all about “Live-blogging” I hope, so people who have managed to get things done in adverse conditions, as in there have been reports of Wi-Fi not working etc, should be given preference. Not people who have summarized things after getting back. I was happy with some guys twittering “live” and this guy named Praval managing to blog “live” over wordpress!
I wish proto a long success ahead. Keep up the good work. Commendable job!
Hey Vijay… saw your comment
Thanks … is it still “seems like” or some decision has been taken
….
waiting for the result ….fingers crossed
